30ROC BIOGRAPHY
multi-talented producer | industry tastemaker
The rise of independent hip hop artists and the new wave of sounds coming from Atlanta can be greatly attributed to 30Roc’s artistry behind the boards. The producer and industry pioneer is known for working with hot, new talent and taking their music to the next level with crisp, original beats and unique exposure opportunities through his network and peers.
His initial success as a solo producer arose after producing Bandit Gang Marco’s club anthem “Nasty” in 2014. The single took off from the underground scale to radio numbers leading other artists including T-Wayne, Trey Songz and Trinidad James to construct their own rendition of the single. T-Wayne’s “Nasty “remix went platinum and peaked at #41 on Billboard Top 100’s for 4 consecutive weeks in May, 2015. Around the same time, 30Roc officially signed to Mike Will Made It’s label, Ear Drummers.
His mainstream work and credits have been ascribed to Yo Gotti, Nicki Minaj, Travis $cott, T-Wayne, Kodak Black, TK N Cash, Skippa Da Flippa, Young Dolph, Lil Yachty, Rae Sremmurd, Young Dro, Future, Young Jeezy , Peewee Long Way, Kirko Bangs, Kevin Gates, Young Thug, Asap Ferg, Kap G, Migos, B.o.B, Meek Mill and more.
Through his craftsmanship, networking events and social media engagement, 30Roc plays a dominant role in moving and shaping the culture of Atlanta’s underground hip-hop scene. He is actively involved in open-mic showcases and industry mixers serving as a guest judge, panelist and performance auditor. 30Roc not only produces sounds, but he also looks to build artists and groom them for commercial success.
30Roc’s music can also be heard on TV and in the movies. Most notably, 30 produced the Eearz single “Work Ya Muscle,” which landed in an Apple Music commercial with The Weeknd, in the major motion picture Creed, and was featured in the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards show. His music has also been featured in a Sprite commercial and on The Fast 8 album soundtrack.
Despite his success, which is minuscule compared to the journey he hopes to accomplish, 30Roc is humble yet hungry for growth. He has experimented with sounds outside of hip-hop ranging from pop to reggae to top 40. He can be contacted at Its30RocBeatz@gmail.com and followed on Instagram & Twitter @iAm_30Roc.
